Title: Tarpaper Canal area
Post by: WestwegoMan on Apr 01, 2014, 8:08 PM
Tough day. 3 small bass. Was actually looking to get into some sac a lait but they just weren't there. I did speak to someone at the launch and he said a fella was catching them in the dump canals. He didn't know what bait the guy was using.

I was trying black/chartreuse and blue mini jigs.

Maybe next time.

It's tough everywhere right now. I'm blaming it on the weather. Hope you can get back out soon.

On another note, I'll be in Texas friday thru tuesday filming my cousin turkey hunting. Hoping to get some good video.

Yea. I think the weatherman lied. It was supposed to be light winds today. Wrong! [smiley=hurricanepalm.gif]

That should be fun.
