TWELFTH ANNUAL DEFFNER PERCH HARVEST MENU

April 27, 2010 - May 4, 2010

 

I declare Miller Light the sponsor of this years Perch Harvest. I, as the webmaster can do that on this page.

Now, with that said, if Miller Light wants to send me some, I'll be more than happy to indulge myself in it. (Like I wouldn't anyway, since it's my choice of beer).

NOW, If Double D' gets Coors Light to sponsor and send some, I'll indulge myself in that also. I'll even put a Coors banner on every page. I just don't see it happening. Sorry, Dave.

Breakfast: Country Fried Bacon, Eggs to Order, Cat’s head biscuits, coffee, milk, choice.

Lunch: Choice of cold cut sandwich meats, bread, garden garbage, select condiments, etc. etc. etc. chips and dips, soda and or beer.

Supper:  Bar-B-Q on the Bayou.. Grilled chicken, hamburgers, and sausage, Cajun style potato salad, Fancy Baked Pork ‘N Beans (Cajunized of course), sesame seed buns, garden garbage, condiments, and your choice of refreshments. Apple pie for desert.

Breakfast:  Fried breakfast Sausage or Bacon, Eggs to Order, Buttered Biscuits, choice of jams, milk, coffee, fruit or vegetable juice.

Lunch:  Leftovers from Saturday night Bar-B-Q.

Supper:  Venison Sauce Piquante’ served over rice, French bread, and choice of drink.


Monday April 26, 2010

Breakfast:  Fried Bacon or sausage, Pan Cakes or waffles, butter, choice of syrups, milk, coffee, choice of juices.

Lunch:  Fridge Dig, (what’s in there you can have) choice of drinks and chips ‘n dip.

Supper:  The world famous Camp Special ( Richard’s Sausage smothered in fresh onions and shallots Slow cooked in a secret sauce). Baked Potato, and a tossed green salad with choice of dressings.

1st. Official Day of the Harvest 

Breakfast:  Fried country sausage and/or bacon, Eggs to Order, Redeye grits, homemade biscuits,  butter, jams, coffee, milk, choice of juice.

Lunch:  Your choice of Cold cut Sandwiches, leftovers in Fridge, chips ‘n dips, choice of sodas or beer.

Supper:  White beans on Rice with a side of Golden deep Fried perch and hot buttered French bread. choice of drinks, Peach Cobbler served with a delicious wine sauce for desert.

(JUNK FOOD WEDNESDAY)

Breakfast:  Nutty Bars, Donuts, and Zebra cakes, coffee, milk, choice of juices.

Lunch:  Hot dogs and Chili, on bun with choice of toppings (cheese, onions, sour kraut), or fried hot sausage patties on a bun with the usual garden garbage, condiments, drinks, chips n’ dips.

Supper:  Bar- B- Q Hamburgers or hot dogs, on sesame seed buns, with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and choice of condiments, chips ‘n dip.

(Heritage Night)

Breakfast:  Bacon and Eggs to order, toast, butter, and jams, coffee, milk and choice of juice.

Lunch:  Leftovers in fridge, ham sandwiches w/ garden garbage, chips n’ dips.

Supper:  Cajun Style Fried Spam dipped in a special wash, battered with seasoned fish fry and served with a side of Pork n’ beans, also stale bread and “questionable” butter.


Friday April 30, 2010

Breakfast:  Fried breakfast Sausage and waffles or pan cakes with choice of  syrup, coffee, milk, and choice of juice.

Lunch:  Open Stove and Pit… fix what you want, eat out of the fridge or order out.

Supper:  Boiled crawfish with all the fixin's.


Saturday May 1, 2010

Breakfast:  Bacon and eggs to order, Fresh fruit, biscuits and butter, with choice of jams, coffee, milk and juices.

Lunch:  Leftovers from fridge, cold cut sandwiches, chips ‘n dips.

Supper:  Jennifer’s Above The Mason-Dixon Line Jersey Girl’s meat loaf served with gravy over mashed potatoes and a vegetable side with choice of drinks. Zebra cakes for dessert.


Sunday May 2, 2010

Breakfast:  Sausage and pancakes with butter and maple syrup. Coffee, milk, and choice of juice.

Lunch:  Open grill, stove and fridge.

Supper:  Little Brother David’s Special Meat Sauce and Spaghetti with Garlic Bread and a side of Chef’s Salad with a choice of drink.


Monday May 3, 2010

Breakfast:  Pancakes served with your choice of toppings, choice of fruit juices, coffee, and/or milk. Breakfast meats as ordered.

Lunch:  Fridge Dig. If it’s there you can eat it.

Supper:  White beans and rice ala Mervin, served with hot buttered homemade biscuits and your choice of drinks..


Tuesday May 4, 2010

Breakfast: Bacon and eggs toast and coffee.

Lunch: Another fridge dig day if anyone is still there.

Supper: If you are still there then you can cook whatever you want or eat whatever is left in the fridge cuz I ran out of menu ideas 2 days ago.
