Saved this one for you, Mr. C |

What started out as a
day on the water to break in my motor soon turned into a fishing trip. I
knew that if I brought the poles that I wouldn't be running the motor very
much. Since I had the poles in the boat, why not do a little Pre-Harvest
scouting.
At my first stop I
wouldn't see the line in the water very long. The rain came and it came
hard.
After the rain
stopped I hit the water hard. The perch were not biting great. The few
that
I could get to bite
were small. After tossing about 15 or so back into the water, I knew I couldn't load up the boat so I must consider other options..
Harvest rules do not
allow using plastics, only live bait, but since this was a scouting
trip and the "Harvest Master" wasn't with me I would resort to breaking out
the plastics and going green
(as in Bass). What else would you expect the Westwegoman to do. |
